“Culturally Rooted…”  is an infographic created as a tool for Community Health Centres (CHCs) serving the African, Black, and Caribbean (ACB) communities across Ontario. As systemic inequities sustained by this group were worsened during the COVID-19 pandemic – of which they were among the most vulnerable communities – the need for culturally-relevant services and support was spotlighted. As a result, Black health leaders convened to create “Culturally Rooted…” inspired by Africentric principles and detailing various mandates and action items for a healthier future for ACB communities.

Our services were retained to design the infographic which became the centrepiece for a report which further elaborated on adjacent health strategies.
