Shark n’ Bake Productions (SnB) is a television and film production presenting content that shines a spotlight on stories from marginalized peoples.  

Between the commitment to shaking things up in the industry and exposing it to new viewpoints, particularly surrounding stereotypes of Asians, SnB TV series and films entertain, inspire, challenge, and change the heart.

Founded by Nathalie Younglai, creator of the Canadian not-for-profit outfit BIPOC TV & Film, the SnB name harnesses a humourous vibe, a deliberate nod to Younglai’s Trinidadian heritage, and her steadfast dedication to being a voice for, and facilitating the transfer of power back to ‘the underrepresented’ by spreading their stories.

We created a wordmark that reflects this balance of ‘serious’ and ‘play’, by embedding a dotted shark’s fin within bold type.
